I tried a wide variety of diets, and I made a lot of mistakes along the way. There was a time when I was into a lot of protein drinks and protein bars. Because I was thin, I thought I was healthy. But I still didn’t feel my best. I was obsessed with calorie counting and dieting. I’ve realized that we need to go back to basics. We don't need another diet; we need a get-well system. When we eat healthy foods—from clean plants, vegetables, fruits, and grass-fed proteins—the rest are minor details. But there are lifestyle changes and emotions that need to be addressed when we change our eating habits. After all, we grew up on these comfort foods such as mac and cheese, pizza, boxed fake foods. They are ingrained into our society.
