Banana Treats


2 Bananas ¼ cup organic peanut butter ¼ cup semi sweet chocolate chips

3 TBSP coconut flakes Toothpicks


Peel and slice bananas into half inch slices.

Place a large piece of wax paper or parchment paper onto a cookie sheet. Lay half of the banana slices on the sheet.

Using a small spoon, spread 1 teaspoon of peanut butter on each banana slice, and top with a second banana slice. Insert a toothpick into each banana "sandwich" and freeze for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat semi-sweet chocolate chips in a pot over low-medium heat. Stir constantly as the chocolate melts, and remove from heat. Option to either dip the bananas in chocolate or drizzle chocolate on. Then either roll in a bowl of coconut flakes, or sprinkle flakes on. Freeze for at least an hour. Remove from the freezer 5 minutes before serving.
